We take pride in our expertise on Alaska, having visited the state multiple times before ultimately deciding to move there full-time. There was just no other place in the world that has ever felt as much like “home” to us as The Last Frontier.

We teach you about finding unique accommodations, scheduling your trip around different activities (i.e. northern lights or bear viewing), preparing for summer versus winter visits, and what to expect along your travels.
We also answer an immense amount of questions regarding the 49th state as a whole, due to there being an overbearing amount of myths surrounding Alaska (thanks for that, Alaskan Bush People and Life Below Zero.)

A Little About Us
We’re an adventurous duo who traded our coastal apartment in New England for a year-long road trip to and around Alaska.
Along our travels across North America, we (and our dog, Leska) became captivated by the beauty of the continent and found ourselves documenting our daily adventures across more than 25 national parks, 40 states, and the Last Frontier.

Thanks to our North American travels, we were fortunate enough to have life-changing experiences such as getting surrounded by a pack of wolves in the backcountry of British Columbia and becoming so familiar with the northern lights that “just green” meant we could get some sleep instead of staying up past 3AM that night.
We made friends while fishing for salmon along the Kenai River, ran the Kenai Half Marathon and celebrated with reindeer sausages, got chased back to our Airbnb by a momma moose accompanied by her twins, and above all, we fell in love with every moment of our adventures in the deep north.
We even slept in a shipping container in the Arctic Circle just so we could get the chance to see Arctic wildlife and dip our toes in the Arctic Ocean!
Add flightseeing around Denali, coming face-to-face with a momma grizzly and her cubs, and ice fishing in -50 degrees Fahrenheit to this incomplete list, and we are your #1 travel resource for visiting Alaska.
